Complete with original steel scabbard.

West Riding Constabulary Handcuffs c1860
A rare set of mid 19th century handcuffs stamped 'W.R.C' (West Riding Constabulary) and 'HARD' on one cuff and 'WARRANTED' WROUGHT' and number 65 on the other.
Complete with original key also stamped 65.
Good working order.

RUC Truncheon and Case
An original Royal Ulster Constabulary 15 ½ inch heavy 342g wooden truncheon with an original (scarce) RUC black leather carry case.
Dates to around the 1960's.
Both truncheon and case are in very good condition.

George the IV Painted Tipstaff Truncheon
An early 19th century 13 inch (33cm) walnut Tipstaff Truncheon with cylindrical body hand painted with 'GR Cypher IIII', crown and 'BROUGHTON'. Turned baluster handle incised with XVII.
Very nice original untouched example.

British 1804 Pattern Naval Boarding Cutlass
A scarce original British Royal Navy figure-of-eight 1804 pattern boarding cutlass.
The 1804 pattern cutlass was the first regulation pattern cutlass to be introduced by the Royal Navy and saw service during the Napoleonic Wars and the Battle of Trafalgar.
This example has a 27 ½ inch (70cm) blade stamped at the ricasso with a crown over G.R.
Faint maker name to the blade spine (possibly Reddell).
Cutlass has pitting throughout, hilt and blade are solid.
A good hard to find honest example.

Turkish G3 Bayonet

Bayonet with green ribbed plastic grips and a 24cm fullered gray parkerized steel blade.

Colt No.2 Derringer
A Colt 2nd model .41 rim-fire Derringer pistol circa 1870 with 2 ½ inch swing opening barrel, chequered birds head walnut grips and sheath trigger.
Tops of barrel with maker details of 'COLT'S PT FA MFG CO HARTFORD CT USA', underside of the barrel is stamped with the serial number '4051 and London proof marks.
Pistol has matching serial numbers, grips are undamaged, barrel hinge slightly loose but not excessive.
NB As an antique obsolete calibre rim fire pistol no licence is required to own this pistol in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display.

Belgian FN M1949 Bayonet
This is a Belgian M1949 bayonet for the Belgian FN Model 1949 Semi-Automatic rifle.
The bayonet is stamped with a serial number and Crown-JF markings identify it as one that was used by the Belgians, rather than for export. "S.A 30" stands for Semi-Automatic 30 caliber.
Both bayonet and scabbard have the same matching serial numbers and are in very good condition.

WWII Japanese Type 30 Bayonet, Toyoda Jido Shokki Seisakusho Arsenal
A mid to late war Japanese type 30 bayonet for the Arisaka type 30 rifle.
The ricasso is stamped with the arsenal markings of Toyoda Jido Shokki Seisakusho (Toyoda Automatic Loom Works) under Nagoya supervision.
It has a 40cm blued steel blade, straight cross guard, slab wood grips secured with two screws and a round type birds head pommel.
Bayonet comes with it's original blued steel scabbard.

William IV Melford Parish Constables Short Staff / Truncheon
A 20 inches long Parish Constables short staff with a dark blue painted body, decorated W.R IV over crown and the inscription 'Melford'.
In very good condition for a 190 year old truncheon.

Plug 8 Handcuffs
A rare set of Plug 8 handcuffs and key.
Inside dimensions of each wrist cuff is 2 ½ inches (6.5cm) at the widest point.
Overall size of handcuffs is 4 ½ inches (11.5cm)
Key stamped with the number 11.
In very good working order with nice aged patina to metal.

WWII German K98 Bayonet
WWII German K98 bayonet, ricasso is stamped 'E. Pack & S' for the the maker Ernst Pack & Söhne and the spine stamped '40' for the date 1940.
The blade is unsharpened, and retains the vast majority of the original lightly blued finish.
Scabbard has a couple of dents and is stamped 42 ASW.

Victorian Baluster Tip Staff Truncheon c1840
A scarce circa 1840, 16 ¼ inch heavy wood (470g) Tip Staff Baluster Truncheon with a black painted body, V.R cypher and ribbed grip section with flared pommel.
In good solid condition with age related wear and a couple of small cracks to body section.

1937 Dated British Army Knife by Wade & Butcher
A very good pre WWII, large size British army knife with marlin spike and early type tin opener.
The knife blade is marked to one side with the date 1937 and the manufacture details ‘Wade & Butcher Sheffield England’ to the other side. The marlin spike is stamped with the British military broad arrow mark ⩚ and '8'.
All tools with good strong actions and good lockout.
Excellent condition.

Early 20th century British Mounted Policeman's Sabre Baton
A rare British mounted policeman's Sabre Baton with original brown leather case and saddle attachments.
The baton is made of wrapped bamboo and is 36 inches in total length.
Both baton and leather case are in good original condition all stitching intact.

East German AK47 MPiK Bayonet ON HOLD
A good example of a communist East German made AK47 bayonet for the East German MPiK 59 assault rifle.

A British Army Riot Baton that dates from the late 1950s.
This type of baton was used by the British Army in Cyprus during the 1958 'Emergency' there (see picture) and later in Northern Ireland. (see second picture).

WWII Admiralty Civil Police Truncheons
This pattern of truncheon was utilised by the former Admiralty Civil Police. This force was raised to supplement the former Royal Marine Police at the beginning of WWII.

British 1856 Pattern Drummers Sword for The King's Own Scottish Borderers
A Victorian Mark I 1856 patter British Army Drummer Sword, with brass gothic cruciform hilt with VR cypher, 19 ¼ inch blade etched with the maker details of 'ROB MOLE & SONS MAKERS BIRMINGHAM'.
The original brass mounted black leather scabbard is stamped 'K.O.S' for The King's Own Scottish Borderers.
24 ½ inches overall length.
All in very good condition.

Victorian Bingley Police Tipstaff Truncheon
A 14 ½ inch (37cm) wooden Tipstaff Truncheon with a black painted cylindrical shaped body and hand painted gilt VR cypher over a crown '1' and 'Bingley'.
These truncheons served as symbols of authority and were used for self-defense by police officers during the Victorian era.
Good solid condition.

1980's Merseyside Police Detectives CID Truncheon
The Merseyside Police had three sizes of truncheons that they had commissioned in the early 1880's ; a standard 15.5 inch for uniform duty, a shorter 13 -14 inch for plain clothes & CID & a 10.5 inch for Women Police, to carry in the handbag that Women Police carried in the 1980's.
This example is an original 1980's 13 inch (33cm) heavy wood 312g Merseyside Police Detectives CID Truncheon.
In good condition with just a few light scratches to tip end.

Spanish M1941 Bolo
Bayonet
A Spanish M1941 Bolo Blade Bayonet and Scabbard.
The bayonet has a distinctive 24cm Bolo shaped blade and is stamped on the ricasso with the Toledo FN crown arsenal mark (now faint) and the other side of the ricasso it is stamped with the serial number '2237 F'.

Hiatt Best Handcuffs
Pair of original late 19th century Hiatts best handcuffs.
Made from wrought iron these would be the most heavy duty handcuffs of the 19th century.
On each side of both cuffs is stamped “HIATT BEST WARRANTED WROUGHT” and also the number “1,” on the other side is stamped “HARD”
Cuffs are in very good original condition and in perfect working order with original matching number key.

A good Czechoslovakian VZ 58 bayonet complete with brown leather scabbard.

French M1892/15 Berthier Bayonet (Matching Numbers)
A French Model 1892/15 bayonet for the 8mm Mannlicher Berthier artillery carbine with a 40cm polished steel blade and riveted wooden two piece grips, contained in it's original matching numbers steel scabbard.
Bayonet and scabbard are in good clean condition with just a few small chips to blade.

WWI French M1886/15 Lebel Bayonet
This is the rarer nickel silver grip M1886/15 bayonet made before October 1915, later M1886/15 bayonet have a brass grip.
The bayonet has a good straight 52.5cm cruciform blade and is stamped next to the release button with the serial number R 31065
The scabbard is dent free and also has the same matching serial number R 31065.
Very good condition.

Danish M1889 Knife Bayonet
A scarce Danish M1889 bayonet with a 23cm knife blade, stamped at the ricasso with the manufacturer details of 'Haerens Tojhus'.
The bayonet has wooden grips secured with two brass rivets and comes with it's original steel mounted black leather scabbard with locking stud to keep the bayonet secure.
The pommel bears the Danish inspection stamp of a crown over '15' (indicating the year 1915) and regimental stamps.
Both bayonet and scabbard are in excellent condition.
34cm overall length.
WWII Australian SMLE Bayonet dated 1942
WWII Australian P1907 SLME bayonet with a 17 inch single edged, blued, fullered blade, forte stamped “MA1907” and '2-42' for the manufacture date February 1942.
Contained in its original 1943 dated 'Mangrovite' steel mounted brown leather scabbard.
The blade has the majority of it's bluing remaining, wood grips are undamaged, no pitting or rust, scabbard is very good with all stitching intact.

British SLR L1A3 Bayonet by Enfield
The L1A3 bayonet was introduced into British service during the late 1950s to eliminate the protruding press stud used on the L1A1 and L1A2 designs. It was felt that the protruding press stud made the bayonet too easily dislodged, so the press stud was made flush with the pommel.
This example is stamped on the blade fort with the ED symbol and '67' showing it was made at the Royal Small Arms Factory, Enfield in 1967.
grips stamped on both sides with the Enfield ED symbol, 66 and L1A3 9600257.
8" blade, 12" overall.

Belgium FN FAL Type A Bayonet
Belgium FN (Fabrique Nationale) type A bayonet for the FAL rifle, with wooden grips, two prong flash-hider and a 20cm blade.
Complete with original steel scabbard.

London Metropolitan Police Detectives No.2 Truncheon c1887
A very rare c1887 detectives No.2 truncheon, stamped with a Queen Victoria crown over M.P indicating ownership of the London Metropolitan Police.
This pattern of truncheon was introduced in mid 1887. It was officially called No. 2 truncheon because the standard regulation truncheon of 15 ½ inches, adopted by the London Met in January 1887 was the No. 1 truncheon.
12 ½ inches (32cm) long, tip stamped 'RJ'. (possibly detectives initials).
Good solid condition.

City of London Police Truncheon by Hiatt
A c1920 wooden police truncheon stamped near the top with a crown along with the letters CP (City Police) for the City of London Police.
15 inch heavy wood (358g) truncheon stamped on the bottom of the grip ‘Hiatt & Co Birmingham’.
Original leather wrist strap has had a repair and is also stamped Hiatt.
In good solid condition.

WWI Remington U.S M1917 Bayonet
The M1917 bayonet was used first during World War I by American soldiers on the Western Front. A sword bayonet design, the M1917 bayonet design was based on the British P1907 bayonet, which incorporated a long 17-inch blade.
While designed primarily for the M1917 rifle the bayonet was fitted for use on all the "trench" shotguns at the time.
The blade is in good clean condition, wooden grips are good with no damage.
Complete with it's original US green leather scabbard and British home guard brown leather frog.

Rare Pattern 1918 Remington Bayonet
very scarce Remington factory error bayonet caused by the production date of 1918 being set for stamping as the ' Pattern ' date, so instead on the bayonet ricasso reading the usual ' 1917 ' for the pattern date, this bayonet shows ' 1918 ' as the Pattern date.
Once the error was discovered, it was immediately corrected, however a small number of Pattern 1917 Remington bayonets were produced with the Pattern ' 1918 ' error date shown on the riscasso.
Bayonet is in fair condition with some pitting and staining to blade and metal parts.
WWI Imperial German Mauser Butcher Bayonet dated 1916
An original German WW1 Mauser 98/05 with a 14 ½ butcher style blade, stamped at the ricasso with the manufacturer 'RICH.A.HERDER SOLINGEN', and the back edge of the blade is stamped with small inspection mark 'W Crown 16' (1916).
Comes with it's original steel scabbard and it's original brown leather frog.
A nice complete untouched example.

Bayonet with 6.5 inch blade, muzzle ring stamped with an 'M' inside 'U' for the Union of South African Defence Corps.

Russian AKM Type II Kalashnikov Bayonet
A Russian type II AKM bayonet for 7.62 mm AKM and the later 5.45 mm AK74 assault rifles.
Bayonet with red composite grips and a 15cm clip point blade with integrated wire cutter slot.
Red Bakelite scabbard and bayonet are both marked with the Izhevsk arsenal stamp

Ottoman Turkish Model 1903 Bayonet
A very scarce Turkish Model 1903 bayonet with a long 524mm pipe back blade, ricasso stamped with Ottoman Turkish script, long swept forward hook quillon, two piece slab wood grips secured by two rivets and pommel with the “Toughra” marking of Abdul Hamid II and Islamic crescent stamp.
Complete with original black leather steel mounted scabbard (some loss of stitching on the seam).
This is a very scarce bayonet as most existing M1903's have had their blades shortened to 235mm.

British SLR L1A4 Bayonet
The L1A4 bayonet was introduced into British military service during the 1970s to replace the L1A3 bayonet.
The L1A4 differs from the L1A1, L1A2, and L1A3, by having the pommel secured to the tang by rivets. The pommel was brazed to the tang on earlier marks.
This is a good example of a L1A4 bayonet.
The ricasso is stamped with a 'H' inside a diamond indicating it was manufactured by Hopkinson Ltd., Sheffield, right grip stamped "L1.A.4 and 9600259 S.M." for the NATO contract number.
Complete with its original black steel scabbard and green nylon frog.
The L1A4 is much less common than the earlier A1, A2 and A3 bayonets.

Thames River Police Cutlass
The Thames river police was formed in 1798 as a private concern and then taken into government control in 1800. In 1839 it was incorporated into the metropolitan police but still retained its distinctive uniform and organisation based on the Royal Navy.
The cutlass type sword has a cast brass-hilt with knuckle bow and side guard, 27 inch (69cm) slightly curved blade with a single fuller along both sides stamped at the ricasso with crowned inspection mark.
Contained in its original black leather scabbard with brass mounts.The scabbard release button is still present and working well.
Overall Length is 32 inches (81.28 cm)

Manufactured in West Germany during the 1970s with a 16cm plumb-colored blade, one-piece chequered plastic grip and cross guard stamped US M7.

WWI Essex Regiment SMLE Bayonet
A British SMLE P1907 bayonet manufactured by Sanderson with a 17” blade stamped at the ricasso with a crown over 'GR' and the manufacturer name 'Sanderson', dated '12 17' for December 1917,
Pommel is stamped 'EX' for the Essex Regiment.
The Essex Regiment saw action in both WWI and WWII.
Comes with it's original mk2 pattern black leather scabbard.

A scarce Radom 1958 dated Polish KBK 47 type 1 bayonet.
Knife bayonet with a 20cm blade, red bakelite grips, crossguard stamped with the date 1958 on one side and the manufacturer coda '11' on the other for the Radom Arms factory Poland.
Complete with it's original scabbard and leather belt hanger.
All in very good condition.

A No.9 MK 1 knife bayonet and scabbard manufactured by Enfield in 1950.
The No.9 Mk1 bayonets were manufactured at RSAF Enfield between 1949–1956, with an additional 10,000 produced in 1962.
Comes with 1944 pattern green webbing frog.
French M1886/15 Lebel Bayonet
This is a 2nd pattern M1886 Lebel rifle bayonet with brass removable hilt, no quillion and squarer shape button catch.
The cruciform blade is 520mm (20 ½") it is complete with its original matching numbers steel scabbard and original brown leather frog.
These bayonets were used by the French in WWI.
Good overall condition with straight undamaged blade.
British Police Heavy Short Truncheon
Circa 1970's British Police heavy short wooden truncheon.
Weight 457g, Length 14 inches (35.5cm).
This type of heavy short wooden truncheon was prefered by plain clothes officers on under cover work as it was easier to conceal and very effective when needed.
Very good condition.

Union of South Africa P1907 Bayonet by Wilkinson dated 1917
A British made P1907 bayonet with Union of South Africa markings.
The 17 inch blued steel blade is in very good condition and is stamped at the ricasso with a crown over 'GR', '11.17' (November 1917) and the manufacturer name 'Wilkinson Pall Mall'
Pommel stamped with an arrow within U for the Union of South Africa military acceptance.
Comes with it's original black leather scabbard with green painted mounts.
Good all-round condition.

Rare Finnish M27 Bayonet
Finnish M27 Mosin Nagant bayonet with rare hollow rivet wooden grips.
The blade is maker marked 'HACKMAN & Co,' and is in good condition with just some patches of light pitting.
The tang is numbered S 89541 which would be the same serial number as the rifle it was issued with.
The original fluted steel scabbard is dent free and still retains its all of it's original black paint.

Devon Constabulary Police Truncheon
15.5 inch wooden police truncheon stamped with a Kings crown & 'Devon Constabulary', leather wrist strap stamped 4719, circa 1930s – 1940s.
Devon county constabulary was formed in 1856 and was the Home Office police force for the county until 1966.
Good solid condition.

Russian AKM Type II Kalashnikov Bayonet
A Russian type II AKM bayonet for 7.62 mm AKM and the later 5.45 mm AK74 assault rifles.
Bayonet with red composite grips and a 15cm clip point blade with integrated wire cutter slot.

WW1 Winchester P1913 Bayonet
Manufactured in the U.S in January 1917 by Winchester for the British P14 Enfield rifle.
Winchester only produced 225,000 1913 pattern bayonets compared to the 1,243,000 produced by Remington making them quite scarce.
The 17” blade with clear markings, no pitting and retains its original factory edge; grips are also good and undamaged.
Comes with it's original scabbard also in good condition.
