Russian AKM Type 1 Bayonet

A Russian AKM Type 1 bayonet for the Kalashnikov AKM assault rifle.

Bayonet with an orange plastic grip and a 14.5 cm clip point blade with integrated wire cutter slot.

Black steel Type I scabbard has a black rubber insulator for cutting electrified wire.

Both bayonet and scabbard have matching serial numbers 2933.

The AKM type 1s were produced from 1960–64 at the Izhevsk and Tula Arsenals.

Good clean example.
