An original Bavarian WW1 98/05 bayonet with a 14 ½ inch butcher style blade, stamped on one side of the ricasso with the blade manufacturer ' F. HEDERER A.SN SOLINGEN', and the other side stamped with the Bavarian Royal Crown over 'AMBERG' indicating the Amberg Arsenal (Amberg, Bavaria).
The back edge of the blade is stamped with inspection mark Crown over 15 (1915).
Comes with it's original steel scabbard.
The ribbed wooden grips are undamaged, some light pitting to hilt and scabbard, blade is clean and undamaged with just some light scratches.
