A Rare WWI P1907 bayonet with New Zealand issue stamp NZ stamped on the pommel.
Upon the outbreak of WWI, New Zealand immediately offered to provide two brigades—one of infantry and one of mounted troops—with a total of 8,500 men.
The bayonet has a 17 inch (43cm) clean blade stamped at the ricasso with a crown over '1907', '6 – 17' for June 1917 and the makers name "SANDERSON" the other side has the War Department broad arrow and several inspection stamps.
Complete with black leather scabbard.
