A c1920's 15.5 inch wooden police truncheon stamped with a Kings crown & 'Devon Constabulary', pommel and leather wrist strap stamped 'HIATT & CO LTD B'HAM'.
Devon county constabulary was formed in 1856 and was the Home Office police force for the county until 1966.
