British No7 MK1/L Bayonet by BSA A British No7 MK1/L Bayonet with swivelling pommel to fit the Lee Enfield No4 rifle and the Sten MKV sub machine gun.
The No7 Mk1 was only produced from 1944-48 and only issued to selective units. The 12.5” bayonet has a 8 inch fullered bowie knife style blade stamped at the ricasso 'No7 MK1/L' and is fitted with brown undamaged Tufnell grips. The pommel is stamped M47A for the manufacturer Birmingham Small Arms Co. (BSA) who only produced 25,000 No7 MK1/L bayonets.
Comes with original blackened steel scabbard. All in very condition.
