British P1856 Pioneer's Sawback Sword by Wilkinson
A Pattern 1856 Pioneer's Sword with a 22 ½ inch {57cm) sawback blade, stamped on one side of the ricasso “Wilkinson London”, and the manufacture date of 11 97 (November 1897) and other inspection stamps.
Hilt with heavy brass ribbed grip and guard stamped with issue date of 5/ 1898.
Complete with it's original brass mounted black leather scabbard, throat stamped with matching date of 5/ 1898.
