A British P1907 bayonet regimentally stamped on the pommel '4. G. HOW' for the 4th Battalion The Green Howards.
The 4th Battalion, Green Howards was a territorial infantry unit that served with distinction through both World Wars and later evolved into part of the 4th Battalion, Royal Yorkshire Regiment.
The bayonet has a 17 inch (43cm) stamped at the ricasso with a Crown over '1907' and numerous other inspection stamps.
Complete with black leather scabbard and canvas frog.
