Early 20th century Scottish Mounted Policeman's Sabre Baton
A rare Scottish Mounted Policeman's Sabre Baton by P. McRostie & Co of Glasgow with original brown leather case and saddle attachments. The baton is made of wrapped bamboo and is 36 inches in total length.
The guard is stamped with the maker details of 'P. McROSTIE & Co MAKERS 164 HOWARD ST GLASGOW'. Both baton and leather case are stamped with the number 11 and are in excellent original condition with all stitching intact.
