A 19th century set of Irish 8 police handcuffs with original key.

Due to their popularity with the Royal Irish Constabulary and the figure of eight shape, gave the cuff's the name “Irish Eights”.

Cuffs and key are both marked 'HIATT ' and the number '385'.

In very good working order with just some very light surface rust consistent with age.
