Rare Chindit Kukri Knife
A rare Pre WW2 British Chindit Kukri.
The Chindits were a British special operations force that conducted guerrilla-style operations in Burma (now Myanmar) during World War II. They were formed to disrupt Japanese supply lines and communication networks behind enemy lines, employing long-range penetration tactics. The name "Chindit" is derived from "Chinthe," a Burmese mythical lion-like creature.
This is an original British Chindit Kukri Knife with an heavy 13 inch blued steel blade stamped with British India Military markings and what looks like a date '1927'.
Complete with it's 1927 dated brown leather scabbard.
