7 ¼ inch Tipstaff with screw off brass crown tip, ribbed ebony grip section and engraved with the maker details of 'Parker Field & Sons, 233 Holborn, London'.
Parker Field was a supplier of Police equipment to the Metropolitan Police and traded from the 233 Holborn address from 1842 to 1877.
