WWI French M1886/15 Lebel Bayonet

This is the rarer nickel silver grip M1886/15 bayonet made before October 1915, later M1886/15 bayonet have a brass grip.

The bayonet has a good straight 52.5cm cruciform blade and is stamped next to the release button with the serial number N 23559

The scabbard also has the same matching serial number (N 23559) is dent free and retains virtually all of its original bluing.
