WWII Dutch M1911 Klewang
A Dutch M1811 Klewang that was modified by the Japanese during when they took-over the Dutch East Indies during WWII.
Modified Klewangs were used by the Japanese as "Heiho" machetes and jungle swords.
The modifications involved cutting down the blade, removing the basket hilt, and shortening the scabbard.
This is a good example with original brown leather scabbard.
