A scarce 1st pattern French M1892 bayonet with matching numbers for the 8mm Mannlicher Berthier artillery carbine (Mousqueton d'Artillerie) “Musketoon”
This is a original 1st pattern M1892 bayonet with riveted composite horn grips, long muzzle ring, hooked quillon and has not been later modified as have many other early M1892 bayonets.
Both bayonet and scabbard have the same matching serial number '90400' and are in very good original condition.
