This is an Imperial German WWI fighting knife with a 14 cm polished steel blade, stamped at the ricasso with the crown Z in a shield mark of the Solingen blade manufacturer Clemen & Jung, the other side has the Imperial German military acceptance stamp.
Variant two piece smooth wooden grips with Nazi German enamel Swastika applied.
Complete with it original blackened steel scabbard with brown leather belt loop and retaining press button strap.
A good example that has most probably see service in both world wars.
