Lee Arms 'Red Jacket' .32 rimfire revolver c1880 with rare 3.5 inch long barrel.
The top strap engraved with the manufacturer details 'THE LEE ARMS CO . WILKES-BARRE PA,'. And top of the barrel ' RED JACKET NO 4', with removable fluted nickel plated 5 shot cylinder, spur trigger and two-piece gutta percha grip.
The Lee Arms Company was a short-lived American firearms manufacturer based in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, that operated for only three years, circa 1877 to 1880. They are best known for manufacturing "suicide special" pocket revolvers, primarily the Red Jacket No. 3 and Red Jacket No. 4 models.
Pistol is in good condition, retaining all of it's nickel finish, grips are undamaged.
3.5 inch barrel, 8 inches overall.
NB As an antique obsolete calibre rim fire revolver no licence is required to own this pistol in the UK if retained as a part of a collection or display.
