A Spanish Artilleryman's Model 1895 short sword of the Spanish American War period of 1898.
Sword with a 59cm recurving yataghan type blade etched with the manufacturer details of ' ARTa FABa DE TOLEDO 1895', chequered walnut grips and steel straight guard with curved ends. 72.5 cm (28 ½ inch) overall length.
Complete with original brown leather scabbard.
Condition is good with just some light staining to blade, scabbard is a bit battered and worn.
