This is an original German WW1 Trench Dagger stamped on the blade with the manufacture details of 'HUGO KOLLER SOLINGEN.' and on the opposite side Imperial German military stamp.
With 9 grove wooden grips secured with 2 rivets, 26cm long with a 14.7cm single edge blade with a sharpened leading edge (see page 45 of German Combat knives 1914-1945 By Christian Mery).
Complete with original steel scabbard with leather belt loop.
Blade is undamaged with some age related staining, grips are solid and undamaged, steel scabbard has good retention, some areas of light pitting.
