A rare MKIII 1888 pattern Lee-Metford bayonet stamped at the ricasso with the manufacturers name 'Mole', date stamped 3 . 03 (March 1903) and a crown over E.R for King Edward VII. The12 inch (30.4 cm) polished steel blade is in very good clean condition with just some very small areas of light staining, slab wood grips are secured with two screws and are undamaged, pommel and crossguard have some light pitting.
Complete with original black leather scabbard and green webbing frog.
