A British 1954 trials X2 E1 bayonet for the X8E1 FAL rifle.
This is the arsenal shortened experimental variant with an 18.6 cm polished steel blade, slab wood grips and double flash hider prongs. 30 cm overall length.
Bayonet is stamped between the grips with the model code and serial number 'X2 E1 8508'.
Complete with original scabbard also stamped 'X1 E1'.
