Devon Constabulary Police Truncheon circa 1930's – 1940's.
A circa 1930's – 1940's 15 ½ inch wooden police truncheon, double stamped to the body with a Kings Crown & 'Devon Constabulary', leather wrist strap with faint Hiatt stamp.
Devon county constabulary was formed in 1856 and was the Home Office police force for the county until 1966.
