This is a 2nd pattern M1886 Lebel rifle bayonet with brass removable hilt, no quillion and squarer shape button catch. The cruciform blade is 520mm (20 ½") it is complete with its original matching numbers steel scabbard and original brown leather frog.
These bayonets were used by the French in WWI.
Good overall condition with straight undamaged blade.
