A scarce Spanish Artilleryman's Model 1895 short sword of the Spanish American War period of 1898 with a 59cm recurving yataghan type blade etchce with the manufacturer details of ' ARTa FABa DE TOLEDO 1895', checkered walnut grips and steel straight guard with curved ends. 72.5 cm (28 ½ inch) overall length.
Compleat with original brown leather scabbard.
Condition is good with just some light staining to blade, scabbard looks a bit battered but remains intact apart form a small hole to tip..
