A rare Finnish M1928 Mosin Nagant, Civil Guard bayonet maker marked ‘Hackman & Co’ The primary Civil Guard inspectors marking of (KE) is found on the cross guard, these initials stand for Kosti Eakola who was the chief inspector of the Civil Guard at the SAKO facility until 1933.
The polished steel fullered blade measures just over 11 3/4" (30cm) and is in good clean condition.
“S” inspection stamp on the pommel and the serial number '55540' on the tang.
The fluted steel scabbard is undamaged and still retains most of its original paint.
