A very scarce original WWII short blade M43 Kukri Knife.
The M43 short blade Kukri was issued to both British and Commonwealth Tank Crews in the Far East during WWII, particularly in the Burma Campaign where small tanks and armoured cars were used, such as the M3 Stuart and Humber armoured car.
This is a very good example with a 27cm full tang blade stamped M43, wood two piece grips secured with two brass rivets. 38cm overall.
Complete with original wooden black leather covered scabbard, military twin-strap frog and both Karda and Chakmak.
